    What is a respectable rear end gear for my truck. I do a lot of interstate driving at 70+ mph. I have a 700r4 tranny and 32" tires.

    I have 33s with a 700R4 and 3.42 and I like it on the highway. 3.73s would be better overall though. It takes away a lot of power at lower speeds, but at 55+ it is great. You can figure out what you have by looking at the spec sheet on the glovebox
    GU2=2.73
    GU4=3.08
    GU6=3.42
    GT4=3.73
    GT5=4.10
    HC4=4.56

    Hey crazeebush, Im in the same boat as 90K5, I have the 3.42's but Im still on stock tires. When I get my 33's Im probably going to the 3.73's or one more up, not sure yet. You commuting from NAshville to Murfreesboro?

    I miss my Ex, but my aim is getting better!

    I have 31" tires and 3.73's its just a bit on the underpowered side, but I have a suburban and I live in the mountains at higher altitude (at least 10-20% less overall horsepower) I would say 3.73's are gonna be great for you back east.
