I might be buying a 14 bolt ff with 3.23 gears, anyone know the largest gears I can put in this axle?

I think the deepest you can go with a 14 bolt FF is 5.13...[IMG]

yep that is corect. 5.13 gears are the lowest you can go on the big 14 bolt. I am interested in purchasing your 3.23 gears if they are at a reasonable price. Better yet i would be willing to trade you for my 4.10 gears. they are in excellent shape. Let me know. Brian

you can get up to 5.13 for this. aftermarket gears are available for both carrier designs. They make "thick" ring gears to go on the 3.23 carriers. According to my "drive train specialties" catalog. the split on the carriers is 4.10 and lower is all one carrier. 4.56 is different. What gears were you going to run?

your right. I don't understand the jeep thing!

I plan on running between 35-40" tires, not to sure yet. When I get the new gears I will sell the old one's for a good price or a trade. Oh yeah, what is the link to that sizing page, you know the one with gear and tire combo's, lost the link. Thanks, Pete.
