I called 4wheel parts for my 4:56 change over. The prices were good...and i figure, after bying my lift wheels and tires from them...maybe I should get my gears there also. Any thoughts on this? Sounds good to me. Has anyone gotten gears from them before?

I bought 4.56 gears and Detroit Lockers for a K30 one time. If I remember right, everything costed like $1200.00. I was very pleased with everything. I sold that truck and today it is still going strong. No complaints as of yet. This price was for both the front and rear.

I think $Wparts carrier "Genuine Gears". Haven't much about them. I have always heard that Richmond is the best. But Thats like assholes, everybody knows one. LOL!!!

I just installed my Richmond 4.10 today and they aren't loud at all. Very quite, cany even hear them. Alot of people say that Richmond gears are noisy. But I think that mostly pertains to their racing gears.
But the Genuine ones may be just as good. Jus tknow that Richmond has been around for a long time.

Will work for beer, parts and tools.
