Adjusted valves, did a Mexican overhaul(paint), installed all the auto choke pieces, new water pump. Removed back seat. Put spare back in. Put new dash pad on (PITA). Dug out tow strap and chain. Found jack handle and put it in truck. Wonder if I can keep my 12V coffee maker from spilling on the trail????:haha: :haha: :haha:

Looks good. I like the 6 cylinder. I have been doing some work too. I am prepping the trucks for the trip. I am getting ready. The gauges for the towrig should be here Wednesday. I have a few more loose ends to tie up but I should be ready.

How long does it take to run OCG?

Good to see you guy's getting fired up! I don't exactly remember but I think we were about 5hrs. But an hour of that was stopped helping a fellow fix his broken steering. Mike is that actually a section gone from your steering wheel? See you gentlemen Saturday morning! :):)

Yep, my steering wheel is totally trashed. I'm bout ready to put an aftermarket POS on it, and give up on another original one. If I could find one that was just cracked, I can epoxy and sand it, but around here I might as well be looking for a muffler bearing.

There were a couple of pickups from that era last time I was at the junkyard, I'll keep an eye next time I'm there.

I think 5 hours does sound right. But like Dad said, we had to help a guy fix his rig and Rich kept having problems with his brake reservoir leaking. We were also behind some guys for a while at the Double Whammy.

Although with the number of rigs it looks like we are going to have, it could take a little longer than last time, but I think it is going to be more fun.

Lets see here.... Need to fix the passenger side rear brake so that it actually functions - the rear main seal will wait until after OCG. It leaks everywhere, but I don't have access to the garage right now.

Just grab my tow chain and I'm good to go.

I am now going to post myself as a maybe for tomorrow. I am ready to go but some relationship issues have come up and I might be single and moving out this weekend. It will depend on what happens tonight. Sorry in advance if I can't make it.

Ok, I just got done with a big discussion and we are going to be ok at least for now. I am going to be there tomorrow along with my GF. I will be be at the meeting spot around 9am unless something happens. If it does I will call Scott and let him know.

I am going to make the maiden voyage in towing with my Dodge tomorrow and I get to go wheeling. I am stoked. Are there any good flop lines on OCG:haha:  :D .

Harley, I'll just tell you this I wouldn't tell you if it snowed 5 feet. :):) But actually it is just damp enough that maybe everyone won't have dust pneumomia when we are finished. See everyone in the morning!
