    Dude.......................................

Some of what you got came barreling through here earlier like a house on fire. I heard one of our stormchaser dudes on our channel say that the storm was moving at 60mph+. When we first got hit, it was two storms really. When I checked radar a few hours later, those two storms had merged into some monster storm covering a boatload of Kansas and Oklahoma.

I will say we got lucky with this one. I had to take an early leave from the office to come home to put the dogs up and the storm was raging in town pretty good. The thing that concerned me was the storm was moving north. Before I hit the storm, the winds were blowing south.

After I got the dogs put up and a quick snack thinking I might have a busy night, I went north of where I live and watched the clouds. High clouds were racing north, low clouds racing south. I'm surprised I didn't see any rotation or anything. We got enough rain here where I live to soak the ground pretty good and it only lasted about five minutes. Too bad it wasn't going any slower, we had fires all last night and a few today.................

That wind was unreal, I was walking with one of my bags back to the dorms from the flightline. It blew so hard at some points I couldn't even move forward.
