to skate today.. Getting my gear together and cranking some of this to get my dinosaur blood pumping....

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HH9_pOdD6lM&search=l7

Need an Ipod.. I'll be cranking them, Sabbath, some COC, and others on the boombox, but an Ipod would be sweet... someday....

Last few days of slacking before the new job starts monday... Funny how I get by on such little sleep these days, worked till 3 in the morn last night down in the garage on a Olds cowl induction hood and up at 7... (sleep poll added) I love the sidework stuff, too bad it's not consistent enough to do forever..

I'll be beat when I get home later tho. Hopefully I'll have caused equal pain to the coping... :haha:

My MP3 player makes cycling much more fun. Get a cheap one and give it a try.

Just don't slow down. If you do its much harder to get started again.

Yeah, I should shop around for a cheapie.. Haven't looked into it.. I bought my daughter an IPOD and have tried them out skating, definitely the way to go...

Its just with her schooling and a list a mile long for the truck, it's hard to justify that expense.. Also, if I'm gonna spend money on a skate-related item I really need to invest in some new kneepads and I'd really like to invest the $170 or so for these Paincheaters

as opposed to $50 for the cheaper ones.. They are by far the best pad you can use, and after 6 surgeries, I really think it would be wise to get a pair...

hmmm, Stevie does have an older, cheaper MP3 player I bought her years ago, wonder if it still works....

haha, it's kinda funny about sleep... When I was young I didn't need much, then I went thru about a 10 yr period where I really had to get my 8. Now the last few years I'm back to needing like 5 tops...

There ya go, we'll turn this into the "how much sleep do you need" thread... hmmm, I'll have to add a poll.. :haha:

I get around 6 or 7 a nite, but it's never in a row. I usually get up once to feed my daughter, and then I get up again to help my wife get the kids ready for day-care. She leaves for work about 3 hours before I have to be up. Those 3 hours she after she leaves, that's the best sleep I get.

I had to be up early today too, and now I'm really missing that sleep. I'll tell myself all day to do to bed early. But I know as soon as I sit in front of this computer, or get to doing something around the house, I'll be up till 1am. It never fails. I'm my own worst enemy. :D

I like to get 8 hours a night, but that would mean being in bed by 9. The only time I'm asleep that early is if I pass out.

If I passed out at 9 my wife would give permanent markers to the kids and tell them to have fun.
