What color should we paint the camaro?
Here's a pic of one that looks similar (by similar, I mean color) white camaro.
If we went the pearl white with orange, do you think the orange needs to be a metallic or pearl orange, or just hugger orange?
Any other color suggestions? The interior is grey and black. And it's got t-tops so the top wouldn't be painted except for the T part of the t-top.

Hmmm, I dunno. Everyone paints their camaros red I think. The hugger orange would be different for sure, but I love that look on mopars. Lemme think a little on this one

Or, we might do the orange with white stripes? That's why we're looking into orange or white with stripes etc cause nobody does it!
Just give suggestions on any color you can think of. [IMG]

I think the white with orange stripes would look pretty sweet.

the z-28 I had looked at was going to be matallic midnight blue with the matallic grey strips... it was a 1998/350/ 6 spd./ t-top.. That was back when I had money[IMG]

White with orange is the traditional camaro color sceme. I'd reverse it and go orange with white strips.

If you want nostalgic color, go for silver with 2 black stripes like the 70-73 Z-28s or hugger orange with the 2 stripes like a '69 Camaro. Of course you could pant it camo, drop it on a 4x4 frame, lift it and put 44s under it. lol. You could call it a Blazaro. Sorry, having a day off with nothing to do.

I like the Indy Pace car white w/ Orange looks also......but.....have you considered looking at that "brick" orange color that came on Buicks (?) and El Caminos......if ya go pearl, ya gotta do 'em both in pearl to look right (personally don't care for pearl mostly).......also sorta like that "lipstick" red that came on 78 TBirds, although most fRod colors just don't look right on a GM......I'd also flip thru the Cadillac color book for some Bronze type ideas.......just several opinions.....

Stuck?...Hell no..I still got some gas left..

    Silver mist mint-green metalic.
It's a blue-ish silver with a light mint green hue.
It kinda resembles, when they try to "print" the chrome look on paper. Like for ads for emblems and badges.
On 1st gen camaros and mid-60s vettes, it really shows off the curves and body lines. I don't know how it would look on the sharp edges of the 3rd gen camaros.

Full body color changes are ALOT of work. They look better (easier) with a full restoration.

I miss my f-body again. wah wah...

Orange would look cool, I think. But Twiz is right, you gotta take just about everything off to get it to look real complete, like underhood, jambs, etc, etc, etc.. May not actually be that bad on a camaro, I guess the hardest part would be the engine compartment. ohhhhhhhhh I miss my camaro again... Personally, I like the plain white one. Does the job for me.

Well if you want a couple pics of a 3rd gen Iroc in Hugger orange I have a couple pics I could email you from this years Car Craft summer ntl's. It looks pretty cool IMO. But then a nice red paint job looks awsome on just about anything... same with black. But since it seems like everyone and their mom has a 3rd gen f-body I would say go a bit different... maybe a sliver and some blue mist on the lower ground effects or something. I love a silver and blue scheme for some reason. Or if you want to make sure you get to drive it all the time just paint it Annette Summers Hot pink with flame [IMG] Nick won't go near it LOL [IMG] [IMG]
