Are you a big guy? 250 seems really small to me... Is it small, or average/large for a quad/trike?

a 250 of that era prolly puts out about 35 horses. a 250 for a 3 wheeler is good size (for a 2 stroke) the new four wheeler are all 4 strokes (around 450) suzuki made a 500, damn those things are fast!

250 2 stroke in a 3 or 4 wheeler is fast . and a 310 big bore kit is just fun on top of that.

1987-1991 suzuki lt500 quadracer 4 wheeler 2 stroke liquid cooled 5 speed racer. biggest production race bike made in 2 stroke . all of this in a 375lbs dry weight bike. engine is 86mm bore and 86mm stroke. the power is just big.

and for all out fun 500 2 stroke is just crazy fun. when i got the bike it was set up for all out speed. had 1 tooth bigger on engine sprocket and smallest on the axle. i could get in 5th gear top gear . but when power band was starting the front end would comeup and i was sitting on the gas cap to try and hold it down with no efect at all. had glasses and gogles on and eyes were still all water . :D

when you cant tell trees apart thats fast zoooooommmmmmmm:yikes:

    Great Ride man
If any body does have 250R's and need parts (83-84) Let me know... I have a ton (well enough to build 2-3 complete bikes) of parts in my garage that is just taking up space! most of the stuff is newer... and some original. My sand bike is torn completely down, ( all chrome and anything that was original color was professionally powder coated (black with grey overlay) about 2 years ago. :saweet:
*This isn't a "For Sale" item... just wanted to get the word out!!!

IM SO STOKED I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!! thx for the compliments guys. i was passin and pullin all the way up the hill last hallowween . i raced a 3 banshees and 2 raptors at once and only one rapttor was keepin up with me. i only weigh bout 160lbs fully clothed and with a full stomach so im like a jockey. its freakin great. i get this sweet spot so when i go up the hill and i can float the front tire to where i can turn it and still go straight. its a trip to see at night. my buddy video taped me doin it. the new 450's were givin me a good run for my money since i only got bout 2500$ lol and thats countin all parts i've bought since i was in 7th grade, including bike purchase. i love it. spankin these new bikes that people are payin $6-7k on and then they come to the dunes and this kid on a 20year old bike spanx them up the hill. and my bike had no compression and the only way i was startin it was kickin it as fast as i could. now with a new piston and new jets it sounds alot better and actually idles on its own. :pimp1:

As already said, it's a two stroke and very fast. It seems to me like a two stroke engine can keep up with a four stroke that is twice the size. This isn't "all the time" true, but fairly close.
