glow plug removal

    when there blistered any ideas short of beaking em off amd buying the tool to get from the injector hole
    I am THINKING mabe take it on a long trip and hopefully the plug will be hot enough to "felx " out if i remove imediatly
    how crazy is that ??
    or take a very small tip on the oxcy aceteline torch and heat it up real good and then try 2 pull it
    of course its plug nu 7 and 8
    well thanks for any ideas or past experience

    Try a search for posts by MJ in this forum. He recently bought a tool made specifically for this job. I'm unsure how it works though/forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

    i did do a search under glow like usuall i got 10 pages of b.s. that didnt address my problem when i tried a search under glow plug tool nothing
    so any ways thanks again im gonna just order the sucker or make my own :-)

    What is you trouble?Your glow plugs are blowed and you can´t push out them from the holes?
    If is this, you don,t need to buy any tool.Is easier than it seems.
    Is enough to cut a washer for pulling on it.If you want i,ll try to explain you how i do this job.

    yea after looking at the tools for it i say 2 my self i can make the same thing for little to nothing and have the satisfacation that i did it :-)
    but yea seams they blistered at the end as they unscrew but just wont come out all the way and i put a pair of little vise grips and pulled on em pertty good but yea sure if ya wanna post a articale i sure would appricate it and i am sure many outher's to follow would also
