Did it on my camaro after I had the timing reset by a shop... I ended up re-timing it myself on the side of the road on the way to a metallica concert...

I also did it when I first bought my current K5, the dipstick grommet on the tranny wore out, dumped all my fluid, and I drove 40 miles in 1st...

    What'd you do to yours???

Hey, isn't this a tech question?

I was just wondering who else had this happen. I posted a better description of what happened to me here.
