I'd like to change the rear axle from GM10 bolt to GM14boltFF, however without changing the 6 lug wheels I have now. Is this possible? I see two solutions - either to use an 8 to 6 lug adapter but it seems no one makes such or using axle shaft for GM14boltFF with a 6 lug pattern. Are those commercially available? Or does anyone have other ideas how to solve my dilemma.

This guy seems to have done it:

Looks like the hub is turned down a little. I don't think the center-bore on stock wheels will work - it has to be aftermarket, or at least a wheel from a Japanese truck (Nissan, Toyota, Isuzu, etc.)
