i have an 87 k5 350 tbi and i was reading Hot Rod's march issue with GM 383 crate motor, i was wondering if anyone has put that in their truck to work with the throttle body set up, i would love to put that motor in, i just dont know if it can be done with the tbi set up.

The topic of TBI and a 383 has come up alot lately. Do a search and see what you can turn up. Also I rmember one of the issues with 350 TBI on a healthy 383 is lack of flow. The fix from what I understand is a Holley TBI or TBI off a 454. Beyond that I'm no help.

My Chevy isn't broken, its just out of gas.

Yup lots of info has been tossed around... especially as a few of us draw very close to begining these swaps. Chances are 100 to 1 the cam won't work as these systems are vary finicky... then yes flow and fuel is a problem too.
