I put in a GM floor, and tailgate. I figured I'd replaced my bad quater panel with a GM one. I called my dealer and the part has been discountinued. They called through there parts network and found one in Maryland. One phone call up there and they say they dont have it. GM parts direct has no record of the part #, which I saw myself on the dealer's computer screen. Does anyone know where there is one for the '81-91 body on the driver's side. If not, I guess itlooks like its aftermarket.

Even in LMC and those catalogues you can only buy one whole quarter panel from GM, the other side is aftermarket only, why I don't know, maybe people kept getting in accidents on one side and used up all of them. But it looks like there really is only limited numbers of that one side left that is GM.

Try LMC Or there is a Chevy dealer in Tacoma, Washington that was able to find tons of original new parts for my old 61 chevy stepside. The name is Friendly Chevrolet there on the net sorry i dont have the address though.

Damn, I must be smoking crack. I go on Google to search for Friendly Chevrolet, but for some reason I thought it was in Seatlle. I was like why in the heck did this guy say Seattle. I come back and you clearly said Tacoma. Man, I need sleep! Well I dropped them a letter, so we will see. Thanks guys!

I've got an aftermarket rear quarter from a 76 or 77 that's in very good shape. No rust or dents. Bring $100 to Colorado Springs to pick it up and it's yours. [IMG]
