Take the GMC badges off and it could be almost any imported suv clone. I suppose the American makers have to try and stay competitive seeing as how the clones are selling well.

And Greek, what fumes said, a well placed comma would sure make a difference

Just another "Hey! We have one too!" vehicle in the never ending stream of boring, ugly stuff coming out of GM these days. :( It seems like no one at GM has the ability to have an original thought any more. Their idea of catching the competition seems to be copying what the other guys are selling, but making it less dependable. No wonder they're losing their shirts... :-(

Could not have said it any better. You would think that the head honchos at GM might hold a big meeting and say. "Hey were loosing our ass and our product is for sh!t. Maybe we should look at how Honda and Toyota builds cars and just for the hell of it maybe build at least a heavy duty pickup with a strait axle to compete against Ford and Dodge" But that is a pipe dream. I think these focktards that are running GM right now are milking the company for what they can get before they go bankrupt or end up selling off to a foreign competitor. They are so infatuated with SUV's FWD and IFS that it makes Me want to puke.

why does gm get a bad wrap for ifs? ITS WHAT THE PUBLIC WANTS! no one complains about the expedition/exploder being IRS. and the public knows what a good truck is. f150 is on a fresh redesign and is only selling like 20-40k a month more than a 7 y/o silverado. and maybe i missed something too, but how does a straight axle help with towing and such?
