I submitted an application for Warrant Officer School and Flight training last November and the kind 'ol Army thought I would be a good candidate for flight school. I don't have any specs on school dates, but I expect to be in Fort Rucker Alabama between august and november. I am really hoping I get to fly Blackhawks and not the Apache. Apache guys are getting over worked right now, and everyone I have talked to tells me that mainly thedirtbags get put in the Apache.

Rubber Floormat: did you submit your packet and just not get selected, or what?

midnite: I have been in for 9 years. I am currently a Drill Sergeant at Fort Jackson, SC.

Desert Rat: Your welcome. like the name.

surpip: i was unaware of the Navy warrent program. Hmm, if they would let me fly jets, that would be even better than helicopters, hmm...

well, myself and a couple others did, 3 out of 5 of us got called before the BC, and he tried to talk most of us out of leaving the Infantry, so we figured that we had been selected, since then (FF 4 months) no one seems to know WTF is going on, one of my buddies is like 31 hrs away from his degree in Aeronautical eng., has his fixed wing license etc...we think the paperwork got "lost" if you get my meaning.
