Gokartergo what brand generator at BF3?

    Dan what make model generator did you have at BF03? What's the output of it too? That's the quitest generator I've ever heard. If it's got enough output for my needs I'm going to buy one. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

    It is the Honda EZ650.. It is a bought 12 years old..The newer ones are even quiter.. Can't remember what the output was but it is not much.. ..Dan

    We've got one of thse tiny little Hondas too.......I think its the EX650= 650 watts. Its a newer one, I think thats why the models #'s are different.
    I just found this on the Honda power equipment website..

    If you've got a vehicle you've already to a generator(ok, I know it's an alternator) and invertors are alot cheaper than generators. Not to mention that you usally get better laminar power flow out of an invertor (aka, what ever your plugging into it will have a longer life span).

    Yeah but none of my vehicles will run for over 6 hours on under 1 gallon.

    With the few hundred dollars your going to save you can buy a lot of gas.....

    How much current are you looking to draw?
