Well today Gold Rush became my daily driver. I pulled the tranny and engine out of my dually today. The tranny was leaking again so back to the tranny shop it goes . The engine has been totally stripped down by me today. It will get it's reworking done by the machine shop starting Monday. I think there might be a crack in one of the heads though. Should get all the parts back from the machine shop by Friday so I can put it back together and get it in next weekend. Busy day!!!

It sure is: welded 14FF, springer suspension, 38" bias ply swampers, etc... I should change the collector gasket on the passenger side so it's not so loud.

    LOL!
Yeah those header gaskets are over-rated anyways. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
    I'm tired of replacing them.

I swear next time i do the header gasket on the head i'm buying some of those header lock bolts like i got on my camaro. They work AWSOME!

Sure is nice driving the Beast every day ain't it?
Maybe you'll decide thats yer daily driver from now on! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'd still rather pay the gas and drive every day in style than in some little fuel effiecent POS car.

My normal daily driver is an ext. cab dually. So I wouldn't know what a fuel efficient car is...
