    Does this really mean I don't have to do an emissions test? I didn't read into it that deep.

    from what i have read of it, if you have a non OBDII car or truck there will be no more testing anywhere in the state starting in july 2007, i heard the reason being that only 30 percent on the cars tested last year were 95 and older and that number is expected to keep going down

    of course theyre going down,

    theyre all getting scrapped

    scrap prices are up there so everyone is hauling them in

    left and right

    i see it every day, tons of it


    IL is gonna be totally older vehicle-free, almost already is

    Not in my yard... I still have LOTS of old junk mwahaha!

    A friend of mine has hauled a trailer load of scrap every weekend for the last month and a half becasue of the high scrap prices, and has gotten rid of 4 small import cars and an F250.
