Anyone know of a good place to download music? I was using Kazaa, but I got too many viruses and had alot of problems. I am using mozilla as my browser and that helps alot with the pop ups. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It's not free, but it's very cheap. http://www.allofmp3.com/ Depending on the quality you select, most songs only cost between 3¢-10¢. You can listen to full length previews of the songs before you download them, plus you don't have to worry about picking up a virus. Also, they don't require you to download a special player like some sites do, you download regular mp3's. One more bonus is that you don't have to worry about a lawsuit, since since you technically buy each song you download.

    I use Winmix and http://www.blubster.com
Both work good but you can get viruses and spyware form both sites. So be careful and do scans after you download stuff.
Blubster is good because your IP adress is hidden. No one can track where the songs you download goes to so its hard for the music companies to come after you if you share a lot of files

I emailed my bro about WinMX and he said "Don't use WinMX, it is tracked." I trust what he says, so maybe stay away from it.

Where he goes to school at they have the computer system set up so that it doesn't allow file sharing. He and a few of his "geek friends" found a way around the schools block and share files all of the time. It's funny when the students are smarter than the school. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
