    I'm Mike, I live in Mckinney, 35 miles north of Dallas. I just turned 16 and I am not driving until I buy a K-5. My parents have already offered to get me a car but I told them no, so until I get a truck I must rely on friends to go wheelin with. Anybody know of any good country roads or public property where the owner doesn't care if you do a little wheelin?

    brian,
    i just heard of this place myself, but here's a link to a forum where i read about it.

    <a target="_blank" href=http://www.texasoffroad.net/forum_php/showflat.php?Cat=&amp;Board=family_ohv_rec_areas&amp;Number=41090&amp;page=0&amp;view=collapsed&amp;sb=5&amp;o=&amp;fpart=>the wheelin ranch</a>

    this should help it list the owner of the place and his e-mail addy.

    this place looks pretty impressive.

    Denton is the best thing close. Off of trinity road on Hwy 380. It would be a straight shot for you to drive there. I live in Plano and it's my main wheeling spot. Hills, mud, deep water, kind of mixed terrain. And if you want to get stuck (with any size tire) there's always the lake bottom of Lewisville Lake.
