hey gang, I have been looking for a good spring shop that is relatively close by and I found one in portland that is great...

    http://www.spring-man.com/

I needed some new ubolts made... no problem, took em about 3 mins to bend em up and throw some threads on em. $8 a pop. Few days later I needed a spring center pin and napa was out, no problem $0.75. Service people seem really nice, they can do custom stuff FAST, and the prices are great too.

just thought I'd pass it along. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Sweet deal, cause I'm going to be needing new u-bolts front and rear here pretty soon, so I at least know of 3 places in the portland area to get them made /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Do you think they would be able to make up some greasable HD shackles like the ORD ones? I was looking through the stuff that they make and I don't see why not. Maybe I could get them cheaper there... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Benz Spring is another good spring company in Portland - and they have killer deals on rotors, calipers, bearings, etc - I was like a kid in a candy store when I was re-doing my drivetrain and went in there...

not sure if they do greasable bolts or not, a ring ring on the tele-phono would prolly give ya the skinny. their site says they do custom fab stuff, so who knows. All i know is that napas web site shows spring center pins at $3.xx + tax... I'll take $0.75. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
