Went to Pueblo Motor Sports Park today.... It is awsome. There are just about every kind of a challange over a couple of thousand acres, it's free and it is a blast. There are NO rules there. It has everything from mild to wild, there was not much for rock crawlin' but there is a lot of wheelin. Some long hills damn near verticle with rocks and some other not so verticle but some pretty good holes. If anyone is interested in how to get there I will post the directions:

From I-25 go West on HWY 50. Go a few miles to Pueblo Blvd and turn left. Just as you turn left you will see an archway on the right. That is the place.

Do you know how far Pueblo Motor Sports is from Denver? Some friends and I want to go wheeling on saturday, but not everyone has an overdrive tranny, so we dont want to burn up a ton of gas. Hope its close by cause it sounds like fun. Anyone else want to go?

Well, the Colorado Springs is like 70 miles South of Denver and Pueblo is like another75 miles past that... Those are pretty rough estimates though...pull out a map a check it out...

Hwy 50 is about the 99 mile marker on I-25 Take whatever mile marker you are at and subtract that and badabing. Pueblo is a little over 100 miles from Denver. It would be worth the trip.

Hi Nick, can you get any smokin' deals on those Big-O tires for your fellow CK5'ers? I've looked at the Big-O's in the past and liked what I saw... At least until the price tag came into the picture. Whew!!!! The XT's look like they would work great in the snow and what mud there is in Colorado. [IMG]

BTW, guys, Pueblo is 35 miles south of Colorado Springs, so it isn't a huge trip from Denver. [IMG]

    Hey Bob,
Welcome back.. Hope you had a good vacation. Guess you saw what I bought........ Man, that place is awsome. There are miles and miles of miles and miles of everything you can imagine. it would be great after a rains storm, lots of mud holes. We will have to go one of these days soon. I am feeling the urge to build another 9 second street car so I may sell the Blazer. I am serious about it this time though. I am selling my Jaguar too. Getting too many toys built up. Need a bigger garage......... See ya tommorrow bro.

I would be glad to give anybody(from colorado k5) a good deal on a set of tires. I have been thinking about putting us on the vendor board. If any of you guys want tires let me know. I can do the best deal on my big o's (i have xt's on my k5 and at's on my k1500 gmc) but just let me know. Also if you guys buy 2 or more sets at a time (get acouple of vehicles together kinda a group purchas) and i can start making realy good deals. Harry what size did you want??

Thanks Nick! I'll be looking for some 35's soon, for 15 inch wheels. 37's would be even better, if they're available! [IMG] I'll also be looking for a set of 35's for 16-inch wheels for the Suburban. Oh yeah, blems are fine with me. They're usually a great deal!
