I just picked up a set of Goodyear MTR 35" tires today....oh my god i love there things...they almost look like swamers but quite as A/T's...i cant wait untill san diego to get a chance to really try them out...but before i go down there i need to take a sawzal to the fenders....its close to rubbing now...i had 33" bfg m/t ko's so this is a big differance...!

You will love the MTRs. I had the 31x10.50s before I boutght the 35s. I loved the 31s so much that when I lifted it, I went right back to MTRs. I have tested them to the max. I only poped the bead on two of the tires when I rolled six times down a hill. The hill was all hard rock, and the only thing it did was put a couple slices into them, but not even close to ruining them. They beaded right back up and are still holding air. That was about 2 months ago.

Put on a new set off 33 MTR's for the Why To K5 Run...made for a smooth trip....then i went up to a 6" lift and put on 35" MTR's....even when wet they have an uncanny ability to click to a wet rock wall at 10 psi....where as the compitition slides off!

If you go to alloffroad.com...and check out the predator trail you will see my 79 and the MTR's at work. Also there is a picture of my winching out a Heep...you can only see the cable and my front fender....what you don't see is the left front 10 psi MTR wrapped around a nasty rock...no puncture wounds here!

Thanks Bro!! Sunday I will be out at lake Woodward all day. We are floating our duck blind for the season and it usually takes all day to get it out onto the lake. Sucker is the same size as a one car garage coverd with brush....
I do have a Lincoln AC/DC Stick welder but I am still learning how to use it!! I have a couple buds that can lay some beads for me but first I have to fab the steel....
