For those of you that read the old thread. Going to use it to and from work on nice days (~20 miles round trip), and the occasional trail. Got it in lieu of $200 rent money from my new roommate. I was going to buy it off him, but the next day he needed a place to live, divorcing and all. :doah: Also came with a set of knobby tires.

Get out there and ride until your legs feel like the football teams favorite cheerleader.

I can't find my black socks, wristwatch, or helmet. Plenty of short shorts though...

That bike is a good deal for $200. The frame should be very comfortable and it will last forever.

good deal on a nice bike. if you're going to use it for commuting and weekend trail rides, i wouldn't get a set of dedicated off road tires. they will be loud and vibrate more on the street. plus they'll wear out faster. they make a hybrid tire now that is more like a street tire in the center with knobbies on the sides. also make sure it has puncture resistant bands (usually kevlar) in the tread. if not, get gatorbacks to go inside the tire. and don't forget the gel seat. the boys will thank you

    not anymore....

    LOL

nice bike, put the offroad tires on it, it wont upset you on the road, plus when you see that trail on the way to work you can ride it and get yourself all filthy!

its kinda like mud terrains, they're a little noisier, only on a bike you'd hardly notice

Similar, but I don't think they are an exact match. Don't know much though.
