The Detroit and the 4.88 gears and the install kit (bearings seals crush sleave etc.) got here today. I now have everything to completely rebuild it. All I need is a place to do it...oh wait we move in to our NEW HOUSE on November 16th. I am extremely excited, except for the fact that I will not be able to afford anything for quite a while now. House payments are $2700 a month. Ouch!

But still, am I a lucky bastard or what?

Where do you live and what is the house like for $2700 a month. Around here for $2700 a month you can get one hell of a house. MUCH larger than I would want.

Whew! $2700 a month? Just one of the joys of living in Silicon Valley, eh? [IMG]

The Dana 60 should be kick-a$$ when it's all done! [IMG]

You pay $2700 a month for a house payment?!?!?!?! [IMG]

For a house payment that much, I would hope the house looks something like Bill Gates lives in!!! [IMG]

Unfortunately no. I just happen to live in Silicon Valley, like Dave said.

It's only three bed room two bath, big family room and a nice kitchen on 6000 sq ft lot.

But it does have a big garage. Lots of space to work on stuff. Too short to pull the Blazer in though. [IMG] And there's a skate park a block away. You know where I'll be when I'm not working on the Blazer. heheh
