:D Im so exited! Im going riding this saturday! I have never ownd my own bike before, so this is pretty much a dream come true. I have done quite a bit of riding in the past despite not having my own bike though. I have spent an entire childhood/adolesents on a 88 honda trx 300, but just not so much time on a bike. Anyway thats all i'll have pics tomorrow...

Glad to see another excited Honda owner. I picked up my '07 TRX 450 today, and like you, I'm going riding this weekend!

I also share your sentiments on having never owned my own toy. It feels good to look at it and say, "Yeah. That's mine!"

You guys are killing me!!!! It snowed here yesterday, so the XR 250 will have to wait a little while longer. I do miss the sound of the Supertrapp on a 4 stroke.

Nice, that's one in my possible line up, although I think I'll go with an X. I'm also looking at the WR400-426-450.

I have been reading about that and what is the deal with them? Do they back off over time? I got the bike from a guy who worked at a bike shop who said it had about 50 hours on it.

    Second recommendation on ThumperTalk.

The way things are going around these parts, in another year or two, we'll have an organize bike run at Blazer Bash.:D

the way its designed, it can't back off. it has something to do with the titianium valves. they are too soft and if they don't stay adjusted will hammer into the head and would need to be replaced. if left like this long enough you will also need to replace the head. one fix that i have heard alot about is stainless steel valves from kibblewhite. as far as i know it almost cures the hammering of the vavles, but you still should keep them in check.
