    Got an \'85 to \'87 K30?

    If you do, I will trade an '82 K30 and an '84 M1008 for either an '85, '86, or '87 K30, especially if it's a Silverado model.

It needs not be in running condition as the 2 trucks I have don't have motors. Both trucks are complete, just need motors.

If you know or have a Silverado K30 of one of these years and want to trade, let me know. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Yeah, someone else PM'ed me about that one and I already sent an e-mail to the owner asking him a few questions. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Well, I just got an e-mail back from the owner of this '87 V3500 and he tells me his reserve price is $9000!!!!! /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

A little more than I was hoping for. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

I think he will be keeping that one! It isn't even that nice! The interior looks rough and the body isn't extremely straight either. If I were paying $9000 for one it would have to be in a lot better shape than that one!

    Just my $.02

I'm watching that one also, but I don't want to drive 24 hours back home with it. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

BTW, the owner is saying something about the brakes. Says something about taking it "easy" while driving it back home because of the brakes. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

    Re: Got an \'85 to \'87 K30?

After going back and forth between the owner of this '87 V3500, he has decided that he would be ashamed to sell the truck to me and wants me to stop bidding on it. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

I simply told him that if his reserve was not met, I wanted to make an offer for the truck. My offer was $6000, $3000 below his reserve, and he immediately said he was insulted. I simply stated that the truck needed repairs and had way too many miles on it to be considered a $9000 truck. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Was I wrong or not? I can copy and paste the e-mails we left back and forth if anyone wants to read them. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

    Re: Got an \'85 to \'87 K30?

I sent him a link to show another member on this site whom has an '88 V3500 and this jackass still says there was never a SRW '88 V3500 made. He said the link did not work. I say he's lying. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Here's the link I sent him for the pic of the '88: These are pics of BAD4WD's '88 V3500.

Anyone else want to ruffle this guys feathers and tell him what he does not know? His e-mail addy is GM1Ton4x4@aol.com
