I just removed the steering stop bolts on my Dana 60 knuckles becuase the bolt heads were broken off and I need to get new bolts and nuts. My guestion is how much are these bolts supposed to be out? Like should they be out 1/2", 1/4" etc.... I just want to get them right because I know if you gas it hard and the wheels are too far turned the u-joint will just pop out. So if anyone could answer this that would be great! I guess just measure from the top of the bolt head to where it goes into the knouckle. Thanks again.

I think mine stick out almost an inch.

I measured just a hair over 3/4" (probably not even 1/32" over).
