Just about 500# to be exact:grin:
He doesnt get cooked, he eats it raw....bones and all, just like you see it. I used to just give him the whole leg quarter, but not it gets cut into two pieces (leg and thigh) because its easier to bag/store:grin:
I hadnt cut the beef heart up in the pics yet. The heart is HUGE!!! so is the liver!!!

People always tell me the same thing...'the damn dog eats better than most people' But hey...its cheaper than the regular dog food/kibble, and ALOT better for him!

You got it man...the B.A.R.F diet. He is a Bandog (or Bandogge) (neo.mastiff/am.staff).
It will last 4-5 months...he eats about 4lbs a day if exercised...about 3-3.5lbs a day if I cant get him out (working late, etc). I just watch his weight and adjust accordingly.
He LOVES it. Best damn diet he has been on. He also gets a few suppliments everyday (vitamin E, salmon oil). He had some issures on kibble...I was gonna spend $$ at the vet and then did some research on this diet. I figured, I may as well try it and see what happens. I will NEVER look back!! It seems like alot of work, but really its not. Kind of like a truck, non of it makes sense until you get under it, then its all pretty simple!
