well I have been thinking about getting a second job/part time job to help me save for a house quicker, the other morning I got fed up and went to see a guy I know who owns a suspension/rv/trailer heavy truck service and parts center.

well I came back the next day like he asked, filled out the paper work and told him my intentions..then he hired me!

I worked it out to where it is only part time "I still run my cleaning business in the early hours" so I start Monday!:D

I will get to work on some real cool trucks! Not to mention making u-bolts, spring packs, rearching and de-arching other packs. Rebuilding trailer axels and manufacturing them, also doing brakes, alignment and suspension work on cement trucks, fleet trucks, huuuuuuuuuuge rv's and trailers and semi's!

I cant wait, I will get to learn a lot, not to mention the discount on parts should be just wonderfull, everything from nuts, bolts, bushings, shocks, optima batteries, u-bolts, and even steel.......he said employees get it all at cost:laugh:

I will work from 7am till noon, before I work there though I wil be working my business from about 3:30 till 6:45 or I could do it in the evening.

I am just happy because It is only part time, still leaves me time to run my business, and work on my projects too, now owning a house can happen quicker!

cant wait to make my own u-bolts:saweet:

Can you make me some u-bolts? I am going to put on a 12" all block lift so I can keep the soft ride of my factory springs. I can't find any 12" blocks though, so I will buy eight of the 6" blocks and stack two at each corner. I will need some long u-bolts though, and I need them to be top quality as safety is my main concern!

Congrats on the new job, it sounds like an awesome place to work!

you wus, take some 1x1 tubing and make yourself some subframes to drop the spring mounts down 12". that'll be much better than blocks, cuz blocks look funny. dont forget to cut your drag link in half, and "Z" it, dont need no binding in the steering dept. i never thought about stacking blocks, that sounds like an awesome idea.

I guess I could. I really like the "scaffolding" look! Maybe I could fool some folks into thinking I have a high dollar gey IFS lift?

the crazy thinng is that there is a local red neck running around with somethig just like that, he has 4 2 inch blocks stacked, and a couple welded to the axel. for the front to make it a solid axel truck he stacked two pieces of 4x4" steel, welded them together, then dropped it down witha couple pieces of 2x2"

his shocks are factory shocks, with 1/4 inch flat stock steel to make the mounts tall enough.

it is just gross, all on 44's and a factory 10 bolt, I have not seen it in a month or so...damn 10 bolt maybe died on him!:p:

crazy redneck, if I see it again you guys will love the pics!
