Damn, that thing is huge!!!! I'm in the same boat as you. I'm about to get a 1 ton Cv from High Angle so I'll share the comparison when I get it.

How's the build up going? Are we gonna see you again soon?

MAN I want the CV but its too cost prohibitive right now.. later on when the trucks driving and I can save some $$, I might go that route..

the truck is coming along awesomely, im really pleased with it.. of course, im spending wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more time and money than originally planned but I love every second of it. Its a rolling chassis and the motor/trans/case are all ready to be dropped in, hopefully will do that this weekend and post some pix.

The thing should be running & ready for wheelin in a few months.. what trips are planned? any in the next few? been laggin with keeping up with the big dawgs......

Sounds good. Are you gonna want to wheel it after you are done. IT'LL BE SO PURTY!!/forums/images/icons/wink.gif

There are a few runs set up. The weekend of May 18 a run to Los Coyotes is set-up. The weekend of May 25 a run up tp our adopt-a-trail is going to be done for planing of the clean up. And the big one is gonna be in late June up to Hollister Hills for Blazer-Fest. That is gonna be huge this year. Do you think it may be done for that one? If not I'm sure there will be some in July, then August, then September, then........well you get the picture./forums/images/icons/cool.gif

Check this. 1410 on the left, 1350 on the right! Someday I want to upgrade to 1350s front and 1410s rear. Or maybe even 1410s front and rear (I don't think I need a CV in front after talking to Jess). When I can afford new shafts...

Not sure, all I know is that you can get yokes for D60/70, C14FF, and front/rear 205. Jess has them all available around $65 each IIRC.

Thanks, now I know where to find 2 of the 4 yokes cheaper, should I stumble onto one in a junk yard between now and when I'm ready for new shafts. Maybe others will have more info.

well thats bogus. I could have gone bigger then? sheeit. Oh well, i really dont think I will break a spicer 1350 w/ 33's. Biggest tire Ill ever run on this truck will be 36's or so and wont see too much hardcore abuse. .. but I wonder how much a 1410 yoke is for the driveshaft, when you go to have the custom shaft made!!

Ok, I know enough about most things to get me by, but UJ sizes isn't one of them. Having an 86 1-ton what size do I have? How can I identify them on my truck, just by measuing them?
