got my K5 home yesterday. pics

    Had to drve it home 320 miles on snow.
    and on 2 HI only.. yikees...
    Front driveshaft had vibes due to bad joints so i didnt want it ruin it on the way home..
    Was'nt fun on 38,5x14,5 TSL superswampers

    Truck was OK.. did run great but i have to change all joints today.. Maybe te 38,5 is to much *S*
    Dont know gearing yet.. but had much power when starting and high rpm doing 60 mph

    hey could you take a few pics
    of how your grill guard is mounted
    i might buy 1 and need to see how it mounts
    its used and wont have any hardware for mounting

    nice looking /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif. what size lift and tires are you running...i like that combo.

    I'm running 4+2 " lift. 38,5x14,4x15 Superswampers.
    It rubs a bit in the bottom of the fender.

    Correcting: it has rubbed /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

    Grillguard is mounted using existing bolts in the bumper.
    The upper bolt is used on each side, and then one bolt under trough the frame..

    Was kinda dark when i got home yesterday so pictures got dark. But i have put som up on webshots.
