It was PIA job ,but I was expecting a bit worse. I will take some pics tomorrow..Heres some things I had to do for the install (84K5)

-Pull rear carpet, and grind the welds on the bolts at postion #4
-Trim the bottom of the fan shroud
-Pull rear bumper, and hinge the gas tank
-Pull off the gas tank hoses
-Take off the grill (to get at the bolts on positon #1)
-Adjust the linkage for the steering, tranny, and t-case
    -Cut the tailgate helper springs

Big THANK YOU goes to Ken,and his Dad (Bill). The Baez's owe you two...

    Thanks also goes out to:
    Greg72 (for the beer)

Having done a body lift before, I've just got to ask the question.

Was it really worth all that work for 1"?

I did it without pulling the tank /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Layed that stupid reatiner bracket in the frame rail and took a long 3/8 extension through the hole in the bed and beat the bracket flat. Wormed it out between the tank and frame. took about 5 minutes per side.

I'm putting on a 1" and new bushings. My brothers said that they would help me out. Were there any problems that you ran into that you weren't expecting? How hard is it to adjust you tranny linkage? Did you have to do anything with the steering? I've put a body lift on a Toyota and it wasn't that hard.
