Got my new body bushings..now I have a few Q\'s

Yes my body mouny bushings showed up thursday morning. After reading the instructions it says I have to reuse the stock sleeves on the first 3 mounts. What sleeves?
Mine never had any in the 3rd mount(rear of the front seat)
the first mount(radiator) is not used so I'm not worried there.
The only ones I need sleeves for are the 2nd mount(firewall/floor) and the 3rd(rear of front seat)
what can I do? is it possible to make a sleeve? if so out of what?.
Sorry for the Q's but I was hoping they would of sent sleeves for all the mounts.

You might want to try a search for this. Someone here not to long ago posted that he had used some from a lumina or something. Can't remember who it was.

Jeremy, if these are going on your '79, the body mounts use a big round flat "washer" that sits on top of the mount where the body sits on.
Part of that "washer" has a sleeve, or tube, welded or formed into the washer, and it goes thru the bushing.
Basically, the steel "washer/sleeve" part looks like a "T" from the side view.
You simply remove them from the old rubber mounts and install them into the new poly mounts.

'81-'91 mounts are different and therefore use a different "washer/sleeve."

BTW, I forgot to mention, these "washer/sleeve" parts are not available from GM as separate pieces.
You would have to buy the complete rubber mount, which will have the "washer/sleeve" in it then.

LMC parts is another place to check into the "washer/sleeves." They have them for reasonalbe prices. This is only if your "washer/sleeves" are rusted and beyond use.

They weren't part of the washer set up. These are going on a 1977. The rear 4 were rusted to hell, thats why they send new ones,LOL but I don't have and have never seen the #2 and #3 body mount sleeves. The aren't apart of the washer becuase the OD of the sleeve would be less then the ID of the washer middle..no way could they were formed in a "T" and stay together.

LMC does not list the front sleeves.
