I finally got pics of my new '85 K5. It is completly stock. It has a stock 350 cid, TH700r4 with NP208, A/C, PL,PW,PB. It has a new radiator, rebuilt tranny, and the new A/C covertion to 134A. Also from what I can see, it is RUST FREE. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gifGot it for a whopping $1800. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I plan on putting a 14 bolt full float rear end with 5.13 and a Detroit Locker. A D60 front end with 5.13 R&P with some sorta locker. 6" front Tuff Country Front Srings from ORD. Echobit's bolt on 57" Ford leaf pack adaption kit with a 7" shackle. ORD 1" body lift and 36"x14.50"x15" TSL Radials, 15x12 8 lug rock crawler rims. Plus alot of finder trimming. I will be losing the hard top and putting a Soft Top on it. It is going to be my daily drive/camping truck/rock crawler.

    What do you guys think?

    Paul,
As soon as we get the rest of are money to pay it off. Had to put a deposit on it, till we get the insurance money back. But we will have it before the Sept run in Uhwarrie, hope we can get down to your place and do some work on it before then.

Oh can your install and set gears?

I'm under the impression that the difference is pre 87, or 87 and up that makes them so different /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
