Well I finally got rid of that Toyota 4-Runner I had for 4 years. It ran pretty good but the body was getting pretty rusted, not to mention the huge V-shaped dent in the front end. This Jimmy is great at everything but the passing the gas station. I'm going to set it up to tow the family trailer and daily driver duty. I've had it for a few months and I still love it but I have to tell you - -I've never been so happy to get rid of something as I was to sell that POS Toyota 4 runner. I'll take my big old Jimmy anyday over that peice of crap.

i hope it wasn't a 84-85 solid axle efi model.....

4 runners are cool- it's like a mini-blazer that'll fit in the tight spaces and doesen't weigh 3 tons....

a 4runner and a suzuki samurai are the vehicles that are up next for me to acquire and modify....

greg ( sorry, no brand loyalty here....)

    * keep the greasy side down *

My K5's my daily driver and sometimes the family vehicle for long trips. I get great mileage, though!

It was an 88 IFS SR5 V6. I liked it when I bought it but the longer I had it the more I hated it. Believe me, I didnt need another truck to hate - it just worked out that way. It was nice, had a sunroof and stuff but I hated it anyway. My Jimmy isnt nearly as nice or fancy but its a much better truck for me.

4 runners are ok I guess.
They are a lot easier to tow out of mud holes and sand traps than full size trucks [IMG]
