So my dad says to me today "What was that letter from the insurance company about?" me- "what letter????" Dad- "came in the mail yesterday"....

Oh great. We can't find this "letter". Cleaned the house today for a Daytona party, its nowhere to be found. The insurance company called me earlier this week telling me they cut a check and sent it out, should have it by the end of the week. So someone in my house threw out/lost a check for almost $2,000. Mom's answer, "just call and get them to send you another check".

Guess I am the only one who thinks that will be a problem. I am just sickened my family doesn't see much of an issue with the fact that they lost a ****ing check for $1870. If I lost a check of theirs they'd be losing their goddamn minds.

My parents lost alot of $2,000 checks.

Most of them handed directly to me.

Well, if you're going to tell them you lost it, you need to do it PRONTO! Did you check the recycling (if you have it?), that's easier to dig through than garbage. :dunno:
