Got too codes can you help me

    Ok got the codes of my 87 and they are as follows
    12 & 14
    Can any one tell me what they are any help would be great

    I dont have my Haynes Manual with me, but if you have one they list the codes in there.

    Code Description
    12 No reference pulses to Electronic Control Module (ECM)

    13 Oxygen (O2) Sensor - signal stays low ("lean") during warm engine cruise

    14 Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS) - signal voltage is low

    15 Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS) - signal voltage is high

    16 High battery voltage
    Direct Ignition System (DIS) fault - line open or shorted to ground

    17 RPM signal problem

    21 Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) - signal voltage is high during engine idle or deceleration

    22 Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) - signal voltage is low during engine idle
    Fuel cutoff relay circuit - open or shorted to ground

    23 Manifold Air Temperature (MAT) Sensor - signal voltage is low
    Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) error

    Vacuum Switching Valve Circuit open or shorted to ground

    you will always get a code 12 when checking codes, the engine isn't running so there aren't pulses coming from the distributor to the ecm, it doesn't indicate a problem. if you had several codes and were reading them out, when you get the code 12 the second time you would know you were through all the codes.
    the code 14 indicates a problem in the coolant sensor circuit, could be a bad sensor, loose contact at the sensor connector or ecm connector, open or shorted wire between the ecm and the sensor.
