I found a gov-lok for $30...what do you think about putting one in the front end? Yeah, it might blow up, but it's cheap. What do you guys think???

if its in decent shape, and it will fit, it might be worth it,but you run a big risk of distroying it with 35's and i blew mine up on my rear 10 bolt with 33's, so maybe you shouldnt lisin to me. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

it may be cheap but you know what they say you get what you pay for.if it blows up then you will be looking for alot more than just the case, you may have to get a whole new diff.ive seen pictures and i would not want one front or back diff personnally.but its your truck and your decision. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

We all know thay dont really hold up in the rear but, the front diff isnt always used so it may hold up a little longer, but you may end up doing more work later. /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif

I just thought, though, don't they fully lock up when you Reverse? If they do, then it would always be locked up in the front end...anyone know how a gov-lok works?
