GPS speedometer

    I remember reading about a gps speedometer i don't remember where.If anybody can help with this thanks.

    My Dash mount GPS has a speedometer on it. Its a Garmin.

    Its probably a marine unit. I wouldnt want to use a GPS to read my mph. It hard enough trying to get my Garmin GPS III to work reasonably well in the city even with the antennae attachment. GPS are only as good as the view of the sky and stored maps.

    I know alot of companies ae making them for boats know since the old style speedometer didnt work worth a crap. Pick up a Hot Boat mag. and they have a bunch of ads in there for them.
