the yellow 66 SS 396 chevelle is my buddies car he spent 2 1/2 to 3 yrs to build at a cost of over 70 grand, not including any labor cost of his own. he did all the mechanical work, including rewelding all the factory original bugger welds on the frame. he ground the welds down a bit then layed down some butter smooth bitchen welds. he is a 25 yrs experienced welder by trade. powder coated everything gloss black that was not either painted or billet polished aluminum. 450 hp 396, march pully set up, 4 speed manual with a gear vendors over/under drive, so its an 8 speed. bear brakes, hothkis suspension. i could go on and on, any ways here it is at the show. it was not up for judging, he was invited to show it at the show though by the guy that did the interior, he had a booth with 4 cars and he wanted my bud tony's care there. the cool thing is we found out Super Chevy wants to do a feature on his car. so we hope it all works out. i take some pride in the fact that i had a hand in building this car from assembly to machining some custom parts for it. check it out along with others at the show. i can only post pics every few miniutes for some reason so keep checking for more pics.
