Apperantly this car uses a diesil enginge to get started and then switches from diesil to vegi oil and it still runs. Kindof cool IMO

Before we bought our f-350 diesel, we looked at something like that. It had a 100 gallon tank in the bed and you just go to restaraunts and get their used cooking oil and that was your fuel! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Thought it was cool but didnt know enough about it to feel comfortable buying it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I think you have to filter the oil first. I dont think a french fry and a piston would make good friends.

That's like the '49 John Deere B we used to have. Once you got her warmed up on gas, you could run it on just about anything flammable. We usually just ran it on gas since kerosene isn't cheap like it was in the 50s and 60s, but I know a couple other guys with similar tractors that have run on all kinds of things. Heck, I bet you could get really drunk and piss in the tank and it would STILL run! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

One of the guys on PBB runs his Mog on it. Says it smells like French fries. He ran it from Ohio to Pannama city mostly on fast food grease. Runns between 50/50 Grees/Deisel and 70/30.
