Winter has been really mild up this way, but we knew that it had to come sooner or later. Geez, just when I though it was safe to pull my short shorts out of the closet.

Click HERE to see what I get to work in tomorrow......:doah:

Yah I know man it was like 70 degrees here today I'm sick of having to wear a t-shirt I'm ready to go sleeveless for the summer dammit.

Actually its supposed to get down into the 30s here. It better not ****ing freeze again. I actually bought an ice scraper at a garage sale as a joke but I might need it...

p.s. NEGATIVE 25 DEGREES C IS THAT EVEN PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE **** THATS COMING UP ON ABSOLUTE ZERO.

Yikes, high here for tomorrow is -2F. I'm fine with the cold as long as it doesn't snow and I'm able to make it home.

A warming trend going on here. Starting at 0,then working up to maybe 23, with snow. That's better than the -16 it has been. Nothing like going to start your truck and your hand sticking to your door handle.
Last week I did a real dumbass; was hand nailing some trim on the outside of a house. Reached into my nailbag for some nails, and stuck them in my mouth. OhSH!T, nails frozen to tongue and lips hurts!!!!

Spent 2 hrs this morning with horses chipping piles of frozen crap up with a shovel. Fill the water troughs and 5 to 10 minutes later there's an 1/8" layer of ice across the top.

-24* F with the wind blowing about 16mph.

I just keep thinking about how bad I want to build the truck and how much the extra cash is helping speed the project along.

Nails on the lips eh, that sounds like you Mike. :haha: Just be careful when you zip up after that "coffee break". :rotfl:

Yep. Sucks to be in CO right now. Was -15* F at work this morning w/ windchill. Not the coldest I've had (-35* F back in Dec.) but still not fun. So cold that I finally broke down and bought a beanie from 7-11 because I thought my ears were going to get frostbite.

Though Gunnison is regularly way worse. Isn't it the coldest place in the continental U.S. on a regular basis? :eek1:

Oddly enough I think I heard Gunnison was one of the warmer places in the state today.... I think the world may be ending soon.

It started to snow on Monday (after 2 months of mild weather and fairly warm temps). I figured I'd stop it from snowing by putting my snowplow on Monday night. Sure enough, Tuesday and Wednesday were bright and sunny. But then it got cold here. Got below zero last night and isn't reaching much over 20F today with the sun out. The wind we are getting makes it feel like -5F right now.
