First off last I checked they were "punk", secondly rock was dead?????? THIRD since when did their anti-american album(the title of which enrages me) save anything? Oh and lastly, Punk Rock is the only thing thats dieing.

By the way this was on the cover of Entertainment magazine with the band members sitting their looking like the were so depressed they were about to slit their wrists(hiding previous attempts with armbands) and wearing more mascarre(sp?) than a .25 hooker. I can't say I hate all they do, I really don't, but damn people.

Green Day doesn't know their butt from a hole in the ground.....

I can't wait until the punk "fad" fizzles away. I hate punk music....and the little punk bands that TRY to play rock... I agree that their album is retarded.

Lets go snowmobiling instead of listening to Green Day! :pimp:

Punk died in the late 80s I think. The Ramones or The Clash, thats what I think of as punk. They may have sung a few political songs but it was all fun and games really. New punk is more emotional junk than it is punk rock. Every "punk" I've met these days is all political and ALWAYS taking a stand on something. What? Depends on the week

It's all corporate garbage anymore. Ever watch Headbangers Ball lately? Absolutely no talent.
