Any of you all been to Monteagle Mtn? If so what are the trails like there? I may bypass Tellico this year and maybe get you guys to me up at the rock sometime in the future, couple of mounths after Tellico or whenever.

I've been all over the trails around Monteagle, TN . Several events have been scheduled there in the past and this year, Southern 4WDA's Fall meeting will be there. This area is Middle Tennessee Trail Runners turf and all the trails are on private property. MTTR work hard to get permission to ride on these trails so make sure you go with someone from that club. The trails range from 2/3 ratings all the way to level 5 plus. I love the area and have been on trails just as difficult as Tellico maybe more. Steve

Our clubs(georgia bounty runners= Bigjbear & Grim Renegades=Depdog & Keith) frequent there often. Our club had a run there recently. Our club president is Stefan Roth also the SFWDA president. So we get a few extra perks.

Mont Eagle is good I hear (was supose to go this month) But you don't go without permission. Most of it is private property and you doo need to go with somebody that knows the trails. More importantaly what trails they are fueding on. Serious lots of faimly fights happen. Our trail ride that we were going to take in April was killed because of permission problems this month.
Stupid magazine coverage has not helped. This is private land and the coverage brought attention to the area and people are showing up thinking it's open run no permission needed. This got Allatoona shut down might get Tiftonnia/MtAtna Shut down.

Im in the process of trying to get MTTR to get back with me on their membership reqs and all. But much to my dismay, Im guessing they have real jobs too. So I'll have to wait till they get home to check their E-mail. I'd like to get with you guys down there Georgia, but thats bit too far to be driving for meetings and all. But if it has to happen well, I guess it will have to happen.
