I have been busy as a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. I know we had agreed on a date in May, I had it written down and now its gone. Little reminder please so I can start to post and take emails about it.

    Thanks Dude.

Yes, its a trip to Tellico in May of 2001, last year we did it on the Memorial or Labor day weekend, heck cant remember which one it was, but either way it was a holiday weekend. BIG MISTAKE. So we had picked another weekend and I was going to post info with my email address so I could make a mailing list.

I think we picked either the 18th-20th (weekend before Memorial day) or the 11th-13th (2 weekends before) It might be easier for most too get the 11th-13th off because it isn't the weekend before a holiday so might get a better turnout. I think that was the weekend we were shooting for and hopped with the holiday that it would be quiet up there.
I think we need to shoot for camping down trail 5 at the crossing or at the bend with the big camping area. Might need to get sombody there thursday evening or EARLY friday morning to stake out the camping.

I'm there as long as I can get my driveshaft and my new tires going. I should have everything ready by March or at the latest by April. Bad thing is, I still need some recovery, back-up equipment. I'm pouring all my money into the primary stuff right now. We'll see. Let me know of a shure fire date.

Ahh heck get a good recovery strap and a HighLift and I'm sure Dep and I can cover any other needs or problems. I have spare shafts and stuff like fuel pumps and alternators and I know Dep has about the same. It's not far from Murphy and if we do manage to break something Dep and I don't have with us it's no big deal to get.

I brought my wife last year. She had a good time. Robzilla (green 72 P/U) brought his son, he was 4 or 5.

Send/post a picture of her and we will let you know. Also can she cook? LOL
JUST JOKING NO HATE MAIL PLEASE!
Sure she's welcome but you got to promise to let her drive trail 5 and not kill her if she hits jeep eating tree :)
Just warn her at this point we are planning on primitive camping as in no bathroom or shower. Course I really wouldn't mind a campground myself with a Shower :) Hmmmmmm maybe we need to discuss this further. I'm hoping to have a pop up soon. I'm tired of sleeping on the ground. This would also let us have a few around the campfire after riding all day and not have to listen to idiots blazing buy at 100mph at 3 am.

I agree that the 11 through the 13th would be the best. Camping at 5 would also be a good idea, you thinking on the other side of the crossing? Its not hard to get across now.

Let me know and I can see about getting this planned out and start a mailing list for the event.

Big Jim brought his wife on the last one and I think she had a ball. The verbal prodding does get rather, hmm how do I say this, Rough, if she has virgin ears you might want to warn her. When I get to running my cake hole you never know whats liable to come out. Military and Law Enforcment dont help your language any.

Shower, hell there is a big ole creek, I got me a bar of soap to fix gas tank leaks, yer welcome to it Grim :-)

Well, I was in the NAvy and still talk as such. So I have "screwed" her ears, so they aren't virgins anymore. LOL!!!! And she doesn't fly with the primative camping. While your BS'ing, there is a picture of her "cooking" at our last camping, logging trail wheelin trip. If you must, have a look. But if she comes you had better bring your pro football knowledge. She will kill you in that ball park. I'm am the one. I have found a woman that likes, loves football, and I have a blazer, what more could a man ask for? Wait don't answer that. :)

Thanks. I'm no professional by no means. But I did one for my mom's company and I did one for a band that I was in, then my wife wanted to get one so she could post pictures on for her family to look at without having to mail them. We are in Nashville, Tn and her family is in Nevada and Texas.

Hehe I got the one up on you. Not only does my wife like my K5 she has her own! I was going to get a 69-70 Sub/Carryall for her since we have kiddo #2 on the way but she doesn't want to get rid of her K5. She said she will deal with the lack of a back door for loading the kids.
Her K5 is a 79 ,3.73 gears, Locker, Crate motor, Built TH350 with a heavy duty towing shift kit, BFG A/T's, and dual exhaust with 2 chamber flowmasters. Heck drive line wise it's tons better than my 75 it just doesn't have a lift. Heck even the A/C and Cruise works, Power windows and locks.
She wants me to repaint it after putting a mid 80's clip on it then wants a Phantom grill and a 4 inch lift haha.
Got to dig it when your S/O is Wheeling compliant!

Sounds like her K5 is better than mine. However, my A/C works and I got all power. Gotta love those 90 models.

Well, my woe-man is going to Ney York that weekend, (11-13), so Im set. Grim, have you found and alternate cook yet? LOL!!!!

Update, I've got my brake lines now, all I need it the tranny cooler, and the straps and any extra parts I can come across between now and then. I will probably have to stay on the lesser of the trails as I'll still be all open on the diff's buy then less I get lucky. Do I still need to bring some duck tape, I mean toilet paper? :0 ROFLMFAO!!!!!! Or maybe a bush hog will be better.

Will work for parts, beer and sex.
