GROUND

    Is there any reason you shouldent ground right to the battery?

    As far as jump starting? Or grounding a stereo or cb or lights or something like that? The main reason I can think of is a possible spark from a loose ground that could ignite the gasses from the battery. Hydrogen I think. Battery explosions are very violent. Other than that I have no idea.

    Its the ground for the motor one of my freinds said somthen like its got direst volts and its bad but I have no clue why

    I ground my engine and the winch right to the battery. Other than that, I just use the vehicle ground. Its easier. As long as the ground straps are hooked up good.
