ok gang heres the deal... I am up against it for blazer bash, and I need some somewhat accurate driveshaft length measurements so I can get some shafts this week. I have a th700, np205 which will go to a ff14b rear and D60 front. If you have something similar, please help me out by making a quick measurement. please! it wont take long to measure, and it will help a ck5 guy get to BB. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif along with the measurements, plz lemme know what ur rig has (tranny, tcase, axles, amount of lift etc). thanks much in advance!

    jekbrown

ps: why dont I just measure my own? well, the D60 comes back tomorow afternoon... and the 208 is getting swapped out the next day... and I dont have time b4 BB02 to get all that poop in and then wait for shafts to arrive! /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

well, the shackle flip + revolvers moves the rear axle forward maybe 0.5-0.75"... but I used rockjunkies perches to move it back an 1". This driveshaft will be looong travel, so I can deal with being off 0.25". /forums/images/icons/wink.gif I'm pretty much just looking to see what others have so I can get as close as possible to the right length without actually being able to measure. any decent measurements (along with ur rigs basic specs) would be *greatly* appreciated. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Well if he wants he can look at what I have posted it also has measurements of the drive shafts, that he can use. I also was wanting to just try to help the guy out. I too know how it feels to try to get everything done before a big run. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Man, your in luck. My blazers at home right now with both driveshafts off. I've got the 205 and the 14 bolt. I do have the th350 tranny but I will measure its overall length when I get off of work. Should be around 1 to 2 PM my time (mountain).

    sandman: sounds good, thanks!

    robbie: sounds good! lemme know!

I have 5" of suspension lift... and every rig is different... I just want as many measurements as I can get so I can make the best guestimate possible. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif The shafts will have long splines, so there is some lee-way to work with...

OK I got it all. Now this is on a 6" lift w/TH350 and 205.

Total length of Tranny+transfer case : ~37.75" as best as I could measure it in vehicle.

Front : 25" from yoke centerline to yoke centerline

Main piece of driveshaft: 21" , yoke was 2.5" w/12" spline

Back: 41.75" from yoke centerline to yoke centerline

Main piece of driveshaft: 35.5" , yoke same as front

    I have yokes on all.

Is this what you where looking for?
