what is your favorite gun that you have , not want? every body has one, you know that gun that no matter how much the ammo cost or that might be giving you problems right now, you still take it to the range every time you go

mine is my IAI M-5000 .45acp

Right now I would have to say my Remington 870 Tactical shotgun. 18" barrel, extended tube, side saddle, buttstock ammo carrier, sling, and has been choked. When I am at home in AZ I have alot more to choose from (mine and my dads guns) but up here in CO I am limited to how much I could bring.

    Pistol:
    (carry) Browning HiPower 9mm
(hunting) Ruger Blackhawk .45LC SS 7.5" barrel. (just as powerful as a .44mag)
    (all around)Smith & Wesson 686+ .357 Mag (7shot) 4" barrel

    Shotgun:
    (Hunting) Mossberg 835
    (defense) 870 tactical

    Rifle:
    (semiauto) Ruger Mini 14
    (hunting) Marlin Guide Gun .45-70
(varmit) Ruger Heavy barrel .22-250 w/Leupold Scope

Overall Favorite: Chinese Dragonov Sniper rifle .308 Win. w/low light scope.

    Preban Bushmaster/Olyarms CAR-15. Heavy bbl, telescoping stock, bayo-lug. 5.56mm.

I carried a m16a2 with and without the 203 for several years when I was in the Marines. Once i got out i bought a Bulg AK... soon after it got banned from further import the price shot up and I sold it and got the CAR. My own personal fav gun... my new-version glock 9mm is prolly 2nd fav.

I've had a few different guns over the years, but my favorite is still my Ruger Mini 14. It's got a flash supressor, 12" adjustable bipod, synthetic stock with a folding pistol grip, & several high capacity magazines. I love it. Oh, it also has a 4x16x32 scope on it. I originally bought it in SD & got accurate shooting priarie dogs in farmers fields at 250 yds. Fun gun, but it max's out about 325 yds.

Mine is pre-ban also. It's just that my barrel is a little too short for distance. It's still fun to shoot. I'd slao like to add that shooting my Marlin 39A is a blast also. It's a 22 with lever action. I feel like the Rifleman when I use it. That & it's cheap to shoot!!

Well since I only own two shotguns, my favorite is my New England Firearms SB-4 10 gauge single shot. That think packs a punch, on both ends. Shooting it is like kicking yourself in the balls...er shoulder /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Ya, my dad has a Krag, and that thing is scary accurate with open sights. You point it at what you want to hit and it hits.

As for the Kimber, you won't be disappointed. My dad bought the Kimber Custom (fullsize), and it is awesome. I love that gun, and all other kimber products. When he bought it we went out to the desert and set up a target at 20ish yards. My first shot was a bullseye. I couldn't believe it. He had other 1911's prior and none of them hold a candle to the Kimbers. 5 of 8 of my first rounds threw the gun were in or touching the bullseye. The only other handgun that I have shot (and I have shot quite a few) that shot bullseyes out of the box was mine/my dads Beretta 92FS.

I was lucky enough to work with a guy in Phoenix that is a 1911 pistol nut and I was introduced to these /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

One like this is going to be mine after I turn 21 and get the cash. I am going to get one like the picture. I am getting it done in the Commander Style (midsize upper on fullsize lower) on an STI frame (high capacity available) in the 9x23 caliber. It will shoot both the 9x23 and also .38 super. The 9x23 round is basically equivilent to the .357 mag, except in a semiauto handgun that will hold 18 rounds in the gun /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

It will only set me back about $2600

They are well worth it though. I have handled about 15 of these firearms, and they are AWESOME. The guy I worked with has 2 (he shoots compitition for the company) and they are just amazing to handle and feel. They make a Kimber look like a POS. They are super tight tolerances and super accurate. The triger pull will blow your mind. A kimber has a good trigger pull, these are sick. My friends carry piece has a 2lb trigger and his comp gun is 1.5lbs. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
