    Oh yea. Wasn't there a guy in Central America somewhere that built a scaled down Hummer based on a toy model he put together?

    The guy said that he hd 400 hours in it near the beginning. Said that he would have been faster, but he needed to learn to weld.:eek1: That is crazy, but it is a cool project.

    Got a link? Everyone I've seen on there has been around $30k. That may seem cheap compared to your "work truck" :D but to a college student such as myself, it might as well be... 1 BILLION DOLLARS!

    Figures that as soon as I say they're cheap and all over, I can't find any. HERE is a two door truck that looks to be in great condition/low miles. It's only got a couple hours left, but the reserve hasn't been met. I've found a couple 4 doors before for under $15K. They needed work, but think about how much work it would be to fab up everything like this guy did.

    I belonged to a forum that was all handbuilt hummers... I liked the aluminum ones.. theres plans floating around the internet...
    smog nazis killed any attempt I wanted to try
